E X P L O R E The Greater Ossipee Area includes the towns of Tamworth, Sandwich, Freedom, Ossipee, Effingham, and Madison. Throughout the area there are many natural wonders—Province, Silver and Ossipee Lakes, the Bearcamp, Swift, and Pine Rivers—to be enjoyed. Various mountain ranges—the Ossipee Mountains, the White Mountains, and Green Mountain. For the golfer there are Indian Mound Golf Club in Center Ossipee and Province Lake Golf Club in Effingham to be played. The Remick Country Doctor and Farm Museum in Tamworth Village shows how a farm was run in the 1700s and 1800s. After a day of exploring, dinner and a play or musical at the Barnstormers Theatre in Tamworth Village could be just the ticket.
