Located in Camden on the beautiful Maine coast, UNIQUE ONE Sweater and Yarn Shop specializes in Original Design Sweaters, knit by "Native Mainer" knitters on home knitting machines. If you prefer to do your own knitting, we stock a variety of knitting supplies and specialize in Maine wool from Bartlett Yarns and Christopher Sheep Farm.

Cotton Sweaters
Our cotton sweaters are knit from 100% domestic-grown cotton. Each sweater has been preshrunk, so the size you order is the same size you will have after washing and drying!

Wool Sweaters
All Unique One sweaters are exclusively designed for the shop and reflect life on the coast of Maine: the lobster industry, sailing, and the rural life. We use locally produced wools for our sweaters and each sweater is individually produced by Native Maine knitters on hand-operated knitting machines.

Children's Sweaters
We carry a full line of children's cotton sweaters. Many of them match or coordinate with the adult styles. All are prewashed and dried to insure the size will not change with repeated laundering.

Christmas Stockings
Unique One carries a full line of Christmas Cove Christmas stockings. Each stocking is hand-loomed from 100% Maine wool and measures 23 inches in length.
