The weekend includes an opening night “Friends of the Festival Gala” hosted at Winvian luxury resort, three days of jazz, a juried craft show, a variety of food vendors and performances on a second stage by students from the Litchfield Jazz Camp.  Over the years we have presented legends like Sonny Rollins, Tito Puente and Ray Charles as well as introduced new talent and fostered the careers of Diana Krall, Brad Mehldau, Jane Monheit and many others.  This year we proudly present Bebe Neuwirth, Dave Brubeck, John Pizzarelli, Paquito D’Rivera, Cyrus Chestnut and many more.  The NY Times called last summer’s festival “a model jazz line-up,” and the Wall Street Journal said it “stands tall.”  www.litchfieldjazzfest.com, 860-567-4162, This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it .
