Contemporary Artifacts Laura Moon’s Ceramic Artist
Contemporary Artifacts Ceramic artist Laura Moon is connected to the clay she works. Her pieces are replete with texture and subtle gestures of movement and light. Laura says, “I take my inspiration from the form, light, color and rhythm of the natural world.” She says the natural world “continually inspires me and propels my work forward,” which is clearly seen through the elegant designs and soothing shapes of her work. The influence of Asian and Eastern design and philosophy are also apparent in her delicate and meditative pieces. Laura recently relocated to Portsmouth, NH from the Catskills region of New York.
