Many of the photographs taken for the Rockland Town Tour are by PJ Walter.  When editor-in chief Alana Harold first saw his work, she was impressed.  “Right away I saw that PJ has a natural talent with an inherent eye for good composition only found in true artists.”

Although PJ studied photography and graphic design at the University of Maine at Orono, his vision of a high-powered New Jersey career was interrupted when he and partner Frank Isganitis saw and fell in love with a mansion in Rockland.  Two years ago they took ownership of the LimeRock Inn and “We’ve never looked back,” he says.
PJ mostly nurtures his art in the breathtaking beauty of the Rockland seaside, but will for special assignments shoot for business consortiums and magazines like Classic Country Life.  Says Alana Harold,  “We were so fortunate to find PJ through feature writer Marti Mayne.  He is exactly the kind of young artist we want to cultivate.  New England is filled with remarkable people and we want to showcase their talent.”
In addition to a private gallery at the LimeRock Inn and at
www.pjwalterphotography.com, PJ’s work can be seen in his signature line of greeting cards in New England shops and bookstores.
