Renown Jazz vocalist Dianne Reeves & Trio played Great Waters Music Festival last night in Wolfeboro, NH–touching the audience with a glowing spirit.  Being a performer myself I look at the arts with a kindred eye.  What I saw in Dianne was a gift that goes far beyond talent.  Dianne invoked the spirit of the music appreciating and connecting with the accompanists with pure joy.  Basest Reuben Rogers also possessed this gift giving the performance an uplifting sensibility.

With Dianne's touring schedule, it is impressive that she is able to create a new and fresh experience in each performance.  She referred to the stage as their "sand box" and anyone is welcome to play.  I said to Dianne after the show that I was so tempted to go up and sing with her because I was so inspired, and she said "that would have been great."  I just might have to take you up on that Dianne.

If you love jazz, this is a band not to miss when they come to town.
